Senior Manager - NIHR ARC Oxford and Thames Valley
I originally studied biochemistry and genetics and went on to pursue a range of research projects in medical schools in London until 2000 when I relocated to Oxfordshire. Since then I have been responsible for several national research progammes in the social sciences, worked in general management in higher education and contributed to a variety of other initiatives independently.
Having managed the CLAHRC core team in its final year, I am keen to oversee the Oxford and Thames Valley Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) in its early stages.
The opportunity to support the local (and national) healthcare community shape the future of research is both fundamentally important and exciting.
