NIHR CLAHRC Oxford Communications Officer
My role within the NIHR CLAHRC Oxford is to support CLAHRC researchers and staff to communicate their work, its meaning in a broader context and its impacts to a wide range of different groups.
This ranges from developing easily readable summaries of research, to helping organise events and managing social media and branding.
Prior to my role here I trained as a medical biochemist, spending over 8 years working in drug development and clinical trials, before moving on to work as a science writer for a number of different publications, companies and institutions.
I am a member of the Association of British Science Writers.
